01 · The room
Built around the way music gets made.
The current configuration connects the upright piano, recording desk, microphones, outboard processing, synthesizers, guitar, and pedals into one continuous path from first idea to finished sound.
The current configuration brings the recording desk, outboard processing, keyboards, piano, and hands-on controls into one warm, focused creative space.
From solid-body bite and low-end weight to steel-string detail and nylon-string warmth, the guitars give each song multiple ways to find its own voice.
After several weeks of workflow cleanup, the studio was ready for a return to sequencing: clean lines, hidden cables, and a calm, inviting room that captures the soul of Sweetflow.

A dedicated display above the MIDI controller made it much easier to operate the recording software while orchestrating sequenced tracks.
This configuration marked the return to electronic music, with the Korg SV-1 slated to make way for a dedicated controller keyboard.

03 · The details
Tools chosen for feel, flow, and character.
The Rupert Neve Designs OptoFET pairs beautifully with the Newton Channel—a signal chain that makes it easy to forget about recording and simply play for hours.
A current view of the recording platform, where monitoring, outboard processing, effects, and tactile control stay within reach of the mix position.
BigSky and Timeline integrated into Logic through dedicated send/returns and mioXL MIDI control. A custom 3D-printed angled stand keeps both pedals organized, visible, and accessible from the workstation.

Every configuration leaves a chapter behind.
Sweetflow changes constantly. Earlier photographs will become part of an ongoing journal tracing how the room, the workflow, and the creative possibilities have evolved over time.
